LUMAS VOICES:
FAVORITES OF A CURATOR

Stefan Saalfeld’s long standing history with LUMAS is one of the many reasons why I really enjoy his Artworks. I find it fascinating to see the evolution within his digital art creations. His new NIKE Remix series captures Nike’s iconic statue showcasing a new viewpoint of women empowerment.

From the very first glance, Oskar Zieta’s piece was one of my favorite artworks from the LUMAS portfolio. His sculptures are so minimal, sleek and effortless and are at the same time such vivil conversation starters. They transform every room they are in; everything feels different in their presence.

There are many people who portray celebrities, but Stephen Wayda is able to capture their personalities and their charm. I believe that the charisma that can be felt in his work also reflects something of himself. The layout of his series reminds me of vintage polaroids or filmstrips and takes me to old Hollywood.

Tanja Hirschfeld is a remarkable artist we recently added to our LUMAS Portfolio. Using her broad expertise in fine art, she casually masters to create the perfect color combinations which result in truly harmonious paintings. Her pieces are so aesthetic and pleasing to the eye, I find it hard to look way.
